Beautiful! Simply beautiful. This was a pleasure to read and a short story to grow fond of. Amazing job, keep it up :D

:D Awesome imagery, Yue! Love the abstract descriptions and ideas that you've brought across without sounding like a philosopher; so many people do that when they write like this. It made for a beautiful picture in my head, and a kind of high fantasy feel. Truly beautiful!:D

I liked it! I liked the description of the tower as "filled with great dreams of the sleeping and the woken." Personally I thought of the being as a hidden hope we are unaware of until it surfaces. However, "Misery was fought" doesn't sit well with me, I don't know why, maybe because having a word which describes violence (even if they don't fight it as such) doesn't fit with the atmosphere you've created. Anyway, it's great. Keep it up!

I'm thinking this is poetry again! It doesn't have to rhyme. I loved the images like "shadow infested," "seared the feeling of incompletion," and "law and order, dark and light, merged and formed a new way of patching the mud." I loved those high abstract opposites merging and patching mud! Keep writing!

*smiles* I liked this. I liked the idea of the the two beings and you said a lot in a short space. I wonder if you could expand and make a chapter with each beings journey to the meeting?
