The picture you describe here is wonderful. your descriptive powers are as ever high indeed. The oceans tendrils of uncertainty plays through the scene to the last. So the settling of the ocean and the sinking of the female counterpart occupy the last lines beautifully.

I love this whole thing, but the last stanza really has that special kick to it. It's sparky and memorable and an apt stopper over the contents of the relationship examined here.

It drives me wild when people give you variations of "I love this" for reviews, but bloody hell, I do love this and it's beautiful and there isn't much more than that to say.
