This is interesting, deep, and beautiful. It's clear that you, or the narrator, are a complex and thoughtful person.

There were a couple minor proofreading errors, and some parts that seemed to be missing a word or phrase. But overall this is pretty well-written. I like the poetic quality in the italics, and how you repeat them at the end.
