You know imagery. You write it wonderfully. I am in awe of your skill.

I loved the imagery in "spring splintering alive" but I got to say, the endig "How much he's growing despite all my flaws" kind of confused me. The way he speaks about his pain, his anger, and his sensitivity, you'd think it'd be his flaws. (though those aren't really flaws per say but they do make one unattractive in my eyes)

The enjambment is great, and it flows well. Your descriptions are simple yet they just stick to me in a good way (:
