Nice chapters, the visit to their home world may be a bit rushed, but I guess things will be moving pretty fast from now.

I am highly interested in the storyline, but I just can't seem to get the hang of your execution; it's little things that seem a little thrown in there unexpectedly that throw me off every few sentences like, "Keera is sitting up intently, unlike me, who is slouching in my seat." Even if you just turned it around like, "I am slouching, relaxed, and she is sitting up intently." makes a big difference. but it could just be me. I don't think I've ever read a book that was written present-tense like this - I intend to keep up with your progress

Oh, this is a nice story! The start was a bit confusing, but now that the guardians are together things are moving on smoothly!
