|Reviews for If That's Happy|
| Jenny Sue 6/12/12 . chapter 1
I really enjoyed this. And I like the oxymoron of someone saying 'I'm not negative' and then 'I wish you were dead'.

The you in this poem confuses me. "Not negative/ I hate you/ sees the good side/ wish you were dead?" I comb through trying to figure it out- dully innocent- maybe young and stupid? Maybe I need some sense of the relationship to buy it? That might add unwanted layers- but I'm curious why the narrator even listens to the hisses. The sounds and layout worked well, and the last two lines were great- but I think I need more understanding of the you in this. It's an absurd moment in time, and works on that level.

I really enjoyed this. I loved the different fonts and how they all signified a different thing, and it made it easier to follow. And the point of it to was great, you did it so well. I liked how it was so much a story as it was a poem, something actually happened. "Now I know what happiness looks like." Perfect line, perfect ending.
