I love Samantha :) She's my kind of character. Nowadays, stories are riddled with the Bellas and other weak girl characters. I adore that your character is a strong, stubborn woman :) I also like the tension between her and Hayden. The small bits of new technology are fabulous. My only suggestion would be for you to maybe get yourself a beta reader. You are OBVIOUSLY a talented writer but there are a few grammatical mistakes and the like. That's what editors are for ;)

Really enjoying this so far! It deserves waaay more reviews than it has. In just a prologue and one chapter it feels like you've built up really interesting 3d characters and a few details about the setting. I'd say something more constructive but I don't really have any criticisms. I'll be looking out for updates :)
