Nicely done, Words :-) Not such a bad concept, though it might be better if you added in that Ella had a slight ability or something.

Overall, very good writing. It's interesting, and the words you use to paint the scene are a good choice. However, the villan is a bit naive. Then again, he could just be like a semi-smart Wormtail, now couldn't he? :) The ending is also a great choice, and the way Ella is so calm after that life-threatening encounter is very remarkable.
