Nice update. One thing confused me, though. The boys said that four people went missing near the pond, and then you mentioned five: Percival Slocomb, Otis Smith, Bert Hinson, Grayson Jones, and Jocelyn Meriwether. Besides that, though, this was a good chapter.

I like your attention to detail. Nice characterization, too. I'm excited to see where you go with this. :)
