I completely see what you mean, and I really liked the piece of description 'stone cape forever blowing'.

This reminds me of when I visited Ground Zero in New York and there was a gift shop where people were buying 9/11 t-shirts and key rings, which seemed so nuts.

I adore this. I love love love Salem and I went to that very same museum but I hated the materialistic ooooo scary crud. I went to the cemetery and mourned for the dead women and children. I loathe how we just think "oh cool merch and devils." Great poem, great point.
