I loved it! I especially like your wording throughout. And the fact that it's so relatable. Just because your life seems perfect on the outside, does not mean at all you don't struggle with your monsters. Relayed very clearly in this.

Although this story is highly personal with all of the vivid details you described with your family and friends, I particularily found the paragraph about Alexnder and everything following it to be the most relatable and memorable. Precisely because of your poignant description, and your ability to capture teh essence of that feeling. The last three lines are just pure gold! :D
