wow, i really enjoyed this and could (sadly) relate to a lot of it, ha- i'm not a huge fan of summer break (weird as it sounds, i'm the kind of person that likes to be on a schedule and with summer, well you don't really have a schedule unless you make plans or something). i don't think your writing is "rusty" at all.
