I like the description of a crush from the admirer's POV. Sappy, but in a good way. A way that most people think when they meet someone they like. And I like how the mother casually treats her daughter as if her love is like any other love, which is rare with parents, even in fiction. I hope Naomi feels the same way about Cristina.

Very sweet - a nice contrast to the cliche of the disapproving parent. Stands alone perfectly well, but it wouldn't be such a bad thing to meet Naomi, either!
