I'm so sorry, Mariah... but maybe it's for the best. Fourteen year-olds aren't supposed to be mothers. I'm sorry, though.

The repetition of the beginning at the end really pained me. It was beautiful. I'm so sorry you can't keep the baby. That's not fair that it seems like they're going off of statistics more than who you are or what your plans are for the baby. One day I'm sure you'll get a chance to be a mom through the ways of loving a man and not being raped by your brother. Be strong and look more to the future on this one. You'll get a second chance (or third if you count the abortion?) and you'll be the wonderful mother you're not allowed to be with this one. Be strong always.
