Haha, that was amazing. What a nice, light-hearted way to demonstrate a truth about history. Also, I think the Semi-Lone Ranger trumps the Lone Ranger, and the female Pronto is way cooler than Tonto. :)

I enjoyed reading that, I guess it's true what you say about history books not telling the whole story. I did though, find something a bit cliche about the second full paragraph, where Pronto comes in, and this story is a lot away from the cliche. It was just the fact that they had 'powerful' stallions and the 'secluded canyon near a water hole and the 'savory supper.' There was just something about those things which seemed cliched, even though I doubt back in those times they had the best savory suppers. But it just seemed cliche to me, a bit expected, like they're all to perfect.
Apart from that though it was really enjoyable and original, and I liked the whole idea surrounding it. I think it was good how it started with that little snippet let's call it, it was a nice way to open.
