I love the word at the end 'askew' reading this reminds me of that bed scene during the openning ceremony at the Olympics with the kids. The monsters under the bed is a phase most kids go through and you really captured that phase really well in this poem.

Well I wish I could have nice monsters hiding under my bed but unfortunately I have goblins under there which as you know are mischievous little devils! I love this poem and it just appeals to my imagination! Fantastic - is how I can best describe this poem in one word! :)
