Takano-Isorokyu 8/4/12 . chapter 1"this CDC lady (Emily something), was visibly beautiful even in the issue Nuclear, Biological, Chemical gear" - all I can say is, this is either the "movie type" hazmat suit" or he must have X-ray vision...well, he might be really, really, hard up. The rest of it, good start. "We are facing the closest thing to an Andromeda strain you will ever see." - huh? - If I recall, Andromeda strain was defeated by a simple shift in blood pH. The baby squalling, driving off the CO2, kept it alive, the drunk drinking sterno kept him alive. Maybe you mean "an Extinction Level event?" I'm assuming you've cordoned the entire LA basin, so we're talking 4 million people, so a 25% morbidity rate so far. With 25% of the population dead -you should see a break down in city services and a lot of secondary deaths due to that - biggest thing, lack of water, since this started at the end of July. Fires like crazy, because I'm sure the firefighters are not going into areas even if they do have water service. No food delivery to the supermarkets, and a lot of people who don't keep more than a day or so of food in the house. Electricity failure, brownouts, melted lines due to heat, and utilities crew who won't go into the quarantine zones. What is this virus, anyway? Symptoms, Latency, Morbidity? - I was a graduate of the NBC school, so I did get a bit of education on this subject. |
