I just finished reading the story, and as this is the very first one I have read here on fictionpress (I'm from the fanfiction site) I have to say that I LOVE it. After reading the summary I was like "meh...just another boring story..." *click* "OHMAIGOSH I wantz moar!" Now I'm really glad that I overcame my disgusting 'judge-by-the-cover' routine, and... I'm really looking forward into reading this story 'till the very end! I want more xD |

| improvementneeded 9/20/12 . chapter 3 Intro : I have only read the three first chapters and english is not my first language. Review : The subject is interesting even though it is not entirely original, the idea of human-animal hybrids is well spread but the fact that you focus on the case of a human subject that has not break out (yet?) is quite nice. (Also, the octopus is not the most common choice when it comes to that kind of things.) The science part is not really believable but it is similar to that of a classical sci-fi movie so it is ok. There are some repetitions, especially in the second chapter (the first chapter if you don't count the prologue) with the word "eyes". There are also some misspellings of "you're"/"your" and a few discrepancies with the tenses. However, it is quite "smooth" to read, fluent so to speak. I will try to find some time in order to continue reading. I am sure the story will grow more and more interesting once the setting will be put into place. So keep up the good work ! |
