Absolutely incredible. All the little details and actions and objects just made the emotions slide out of the beautiful words themselves and float to where I could feel them perfectly. The poem was simple, and yet multi-faceted; it captured my feelings better than I would've been able to. And more and more.
The resigned calm with which the narrator decides to leave herself behind to escape old love is bittersweet and quietly heart-wrenching. The words, the flow, the clash of hope and sorrow - I loved it all.

I felt as if I should toss my hands in the air and say YES! Damn right!
