Tiamatty 5/19/13 . chapter 10I think I've figured out where to pick up with Julienne and Shift. Ultragirl seems like she might be too powerful for the team. She might be useful against Alderon, though. Looking forward to the fight. |
DoYouKnowThatShe'sNotBreathing 9/4/12 . chapter 9I think maybe 'Elektra' was worse then 'Ghost Rider'...but, well, that's my opinion. 'Amazing Spiderman' was the worst superhero movie I've seen since 'Green Lantern'. |
Tiamatty 9/2/12 . chapter 9I liked Amazing Spider-Man. I thought it was better than the Raimi movies. For one thing, they had Spider-Man actually make some jokes, something Raimi failed to include. They also handled the responsibility theme a lot better. It wasn't just about great power coming with great responsibility. It was about any power coming with responsibility. I'm vaguely disappointed with Jessica for sleeping with Scott. He's a jackass. But I guess when you're horny enough, your standards drop. |
Q-Works 9/1/12 . chapter 7Great brawl and slugfest. I like the introduction of Shift. Sewing the seeds of distrust already. Its too bad she can't pay attention to small details, otherwise someone would be dead. I have a new favorite line. Its filled with both creative exposition and manifest destiny lol. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way," he said. "The easy way is you surrender. The hard way is you hit me, my force field absorbs it. Then I hit you, making you stronger, you hit me, and once again my field absorbs it, and we proceed to beat the crap out of each other with no results." |
Tiamatty 8/31/12 . chapter 8The Falcon may be overpowered. So I'm hoping he turns out to be a traitor, just because that would be a way to avoid him becoming a deus ex machina. Also, Pokemon vs. Digimon? Nerds. (As though I haven't had debates over Kirk vs. Picard and Lord of the Rings vs. Star Wars.) |
Tiamatty 8/31/12 . chapter 7Fun fight. Would've been fun to have Valour and Voltigeur talk things out while attacking each other. It's not like either of them would mind a senseless brawl. That was a pretty careless mistake Shift made. I guess she just didn't care enough to put any real work in. Perhaps she only puts in effort when it suits her own purposes. When she's just following someone else's orders, she does the minimum required. |
Q-Works 8/31/12 . chapter 4Thats what I'm talking about! Fast pace, no fluff. No existentialism piece. Just a good drag out, knuckle brawl. A hero who uses shadows. Wow. Normally dark types are evil, but I like the new spin. |
Q-Works 8/31/12 . chapter 2Well, I like this chapter. Sylvester kinda reminds me of Ryo a little bit, but its alright, because Ryo is pretty much your average 17 year old boy. My first thought was that there are ALOT of blonde haired, blue eyed people running around in the streets. And almost a whole team of em almost would seem awfully weird. Maybe that is working toward the story though. I liked the pacing and the short chapters. The bad guy shows up, talks trash, and no questions are asked. Its like the golden age of comics when the bad guy showed up, he did bad things and the hero showed up to kick him in the ding ding. No questions asked. The only problem I had is that Jake grunts when asked a question, but then is very eager to take up Eric's offer. Maybe they were just being patriotic though and very questionable of this stranger on their property. All in all, another sterling chapter. |
Tiamatty 8/31/12 . chapter 6One thing is that I doubt Julienne would be in favour of contacting Savant at all, especially to upgrade their computer. She really doesn't trust Janet, and probably hasn't ruled out the possibility of her being involved with Will's disappearance. Hell, I haven't ruled out her involvement, and I know you're not involving her. The fact that not even CASSI answered when Julienne called would make her even more suspicious. Which would probably make her suspicious of Valour and Mercy, too, which could easily be what causes her to fight them in the first place. But, uh, good chapter. By the way, the strength test. I'm curious: Is that a real thing? With 5 really being the average result? |
Tiamatty 8/30/12 . chapter 5Good. Some details on the characters, and a little bit of insight into their personalities. But man, you're keeping a fast update schedule. |
DoYouKnowThatShe'sNotBreathing 8/30/12 . chapter 4*facepalm* That makes me sound stupid...oh, well. |
Tiamatty 8/30/12 . chapter 4Nice fight. The French profanity was definitely a nice touch, as was Julienne getting pissed off enough to just hit her. Glad to see my girl's not taking crap from anyone. |
DoYouKnowThatShe'sNotBreathing 8/29/12 . chapter 3Julianne, Stuart, Alderon, the twins, and Captain Flag (whose real name I forget) make six superheroes. I'd advise not to make too many other developed characters, or it might be too many, adding villains and entourage. |
Tiamatty 8/29/12 . chapter 3Looking forward to seeing them all in action. I'm also wondering if Falcon is going to turn out to be more dangerous than whoever they're going up against. He certainly doesn't seem the good sort. |
Tiamatty 8/28/12 . chapter 2Good, good. Definitely on the short side, but I suppose that'll probably mean fast updates. 800-900 words per update would probably be more manageable, to a lot of people, than my 2500-3000. The team's starting to come together. Also, I'm amused that she had to point to the ring twice. |
