|Reviews for Winter|
| Winged Devotion 9/1/12 . chapter 1
It feels like a war poem to me, a post bellum kind of poem. Two people, a pair of lovers, who escaped the war and find themselves at long last in a safer place, but winter has come. It's as if the snow reminds them both of a previous winter, a winter without bloodshed and horror. A winter of peace. The protagonist realises in the end that even her lover is claimed as a victim of war, as it feels to me like the lover is fatally injured and dies at the end, but it's all very unexpected.
The lover could be already dead from before the start of this poem, but it fééls to me like he isn't. He still feels so tangible.
Anyhow, what I'm trying to say is: it's amazing. :)
