This is good. As mentioned before, the plot thus far has been done. However, I like Selita. She's a good mix of alien and human. The writing is easy to read as well. Aside from a few subtle errors, I like this.

A plot twist! You've certainly created an interesting societal/cultural moray for Selita's species. I suppose all Griffin has to do is accept being a Vegan and they would get along just fine ... yeah, right...

So, the next issue is where did she go?

Somewhat common plot, but you have created a unique set of circumstances. You have certainly created a different alien (?) physiology. I'm looking forward to the back story for this creature and the interaction between the two characters.

Spelling, grammar etc, look good ... it always help with a stories readability...
