|Reviews for Be honest and call me a distraction|
| Anihyr Moonstar 9/16/12 . chapter 1
Really love this. The first stanza opens with strong imagery: a soft ideal, safe and relaxed - subdued and happy. Each line reinforces that and it paints the picture so well in its brief little interlude.
Then, the second one comes in with "reality" and it's like contrasting the too-good boy (in stanza one) with living on the wild side with the "bad boy" in stanza two. The images are just as strong but this time ripe and striking and off-setting.
By the end, it makes me feel for the narrator. Very enjoyable piece. :)
