Reminds me of the way Hannah cherished her long awaited son Samuel in 1 Samuel Chapter 1-2 of the Old Testament, after she'd been through so much anguish of not being able to have a child.
An American preacher named David Solomon Hall came to Australia in 2010 and preached on that passage under the topic "Dare to Dream", and talked of how God led him to marry his wife (whom he'd dreamt of being with for years).
