Cool. Trevor doesn't feel the same - that's an interesting turn.

But why does Trevor cry? How did he find out that she was the one who published his secrets in the school paper? She only told it to one person once - and that was a week earlier and it wasn't in the library.

Noooooooooo, Trevorrrrrr... I can't believe Lyssa turned on her. :( :( :( And that freshman, too. But at least Ari told him about the newspaper and it's all out in the open, so hopefully he'll forgive her. And Miss Carmandy, gosh. WOW. This was a very, very, very good and surprising chapter.

I like how you make the characters contrast so much. The main protagonist is a little hypocritical (she is sort of a ditz). I can't bring myself to like her. I do not know if that is the point of the character in this stage of development. Will that change later in the book? Make sure you know your main character well. I face that same problem with the protagonists in my own story.
Add more of it! (it is not to slow by the way! just make sure everything that happens is ether pushing the plot, setting the scene, or showing the characters.)

Oh my gosh, I knew right when Ari said the handwriting looked familiar that Trevor wrote the note! How cute! :) No wonder he was mad at her the first day... Probably b/c he saw her not caring about the note, right? Or maybe he didn't see, and he was just suppressing his feelings or something... Can't wait to see how Trevor reacts when he finds out (if he does) why Ari's avoiding him and his reaction when Ari tells him the note! Great chapter, I literally squealed happily when I saw you updated this, haha.

I started reading your story when I should've been studying for midterms and let me just say that it was totally worth it. At first, I wasn't sure about Ari and her attitude towards certain things. But not her attitude towards boys. That was expected. But I loved your writing style so much that I kept reading and, of course, I fell in love with the complex protagonist and the mysterious Rushton. I love cliches. Seriously, I will search this entire site for them. And yours was freaking perfect.

Keep writing, updating, and doing what you do. Because it's fantastic.

I can't wait for next installement in this plot. Please don't keep me waiting! :)
