You have a great start here. It pulls the reader in quickly and it could turn out to be a great mystery and psychological story. Please do not abandon this. As a girl who is most interested in psychology in all its aspects, I would love for this to continue.

This is a great start, especially seeing as the detective to seems already have an idea who it is. I adore stories like that (seriously - check out the heart series by Chelsea Cain!). I await the next chapter eagerly!
