The first time I read this I thought it was from the view of the grim reaper. . such a shock to find out it was her father the whole time. This is so poignant. It's beautiful that at the end of the contain it's 'I promise' that's there. ..!

Amazing poem here- and I love the way that the seconds tick away.

That was... I don't even know. Amazing? No, that's not quite right... I guess, to put it simply, I really really like it.

Perfectly chilling and the countdown drew me in and I couldn't believe it when we reached zero. Wow I honestly don't know where this came from but you're definitely on fine form because of this masterpiece. I could just picture the grim reaper talking to a young girl, it was chilling. Just chilling but superb! :-)

I like how the poem doesn't fully reveal itself until the end, you don't quite know whats going on until you get to number 5. This is a heart-breakingly beautiful piece and I love the unique format. A great write :)

This is beautiful. In the beginning I thought it was going to take a much more malicious turn, but what it turned out to be was simply gorgeous. Nothing is so simple and wonderful as a promise from your parent. You've done a brilliant job capturing this :)
