The dialogue gets a bit confusing in some parts because it's not entirely clear who said what.
Other than that, I like it. I'm glad to see that the main character is starting to go somewhere. It definitely makes the story more interesting than just having him sit around at a hotel watching TV. I also like the introduction of other characters like Osaha Farmaw and Spencer Caulfield even if they only have a small part in the story.

You weren't kidding when you said the main character is like Holden Caulfield. He (I'm just assuming that it's a "he"...we haven't been told much about the character yet) seems a little more angry though.
I like the line about how the story is real even if it's not true. I found it intriguing, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this will be shown.
"God I hate nature" made me laugh. I'm hoping there will be more of that sort of humor throughout the story.
You had a few typos, but nothing incredibly distracting. That's the only somewhat bad thing I have to say about the story so far. (Which is good.)
