I love this! It made me think of Ella Wheeler Wilcox's "The Way of the World". I think that this is my favorite work of yours yet.

I really like this a lot, I feel its true, it reminds me "another metaphor" of roads and sidewalks, how cracks form, it chips away until it become a pothole and then people come to fix it. But anyways really touching piece
