This poem is so sweet! I can't say I can relate entirely but I do believe many people can relate to some extent. I can relate to the ending when you realize that one figure is your guardian angel. I believe my Dad looks down on me everyday and watches over me. I always try to make him proud of me.
However, besides that there is only one grammatical error that I think you missed. Instead of save did you mean except for her in the fourth line of your poem?

Aww, how sweet. It's similar to my grandpa. He died a while before I was born, but at this museum of various old-time things, there is a train. It looks like it's from the 50's. Supposedly, my grandpa fixed that. It's my favorite part of the museum, alongside the 'Seventeenth Summer' part.
