Darling, I adore the powerful natural imagery that you use in this wonderful poem: "Deep pink of sunsets"!
I think using a "Plum" as a metaphor works brilliantly, it gives the image of something tender, bittersweet, along with the fact that a Plum piercing open actually releases 'juice' and looks somewhat like a vagina. ;)
I like that this poem is multilayered, it isn't just about reminiscing over a certain experience ( :p )!
However, slightly tricky for me to read is this, as your my bff so... :P

BUT BASICALLY I LOVE IT and you really do reveal that you have a wonderful talent for writing in this poem!

I'm a little hot under the collar now - I usually hate plums, but now they seem like, the sexiest thing ever. Everything here is so tense and passionate it's explosive!
