Very much so. This was the quick-shot climactic section of a more complete story that never got written. In that world, an oppressive government realized the power of music and banned it.

Okay. Is singing illegal or something? If it is. This story made my day in a rever psycologic way. The plot was upsetting but I enjoyed reading it. If ht makes sense.
