| Anihyr Moonstar 12/26/12 . chapter 1 No. Why should I read this? This is a piece of fiction, not an application to a role play. It's your responsibility as the author to show the reader these details about the characters in the context of the story. Right now they (the characters) are complete strangers to me. Why should I care *at all* about exactly how much they weigh or how tall they are? You've given me absolutely no reason to yet, and thus listing off these facts is boring and, in some ways, cocky (you expecting that the readers should just magically care about your oh-so-original characters before you've given us a single line of actual prose). The entire purpose of a story is to, you know, TELL a story. With the story, you show the readers why they should care about the characters and weave in the important details.
