If thats the case, then the ghost of my past have shackles around my wrists and feet. They have tied me down and choked me. Now I see it's because I refused to set them free. A foolish punishment I will keep. (Haha.. I should post this little poem you just inspired.) I'm grateful that you wrote this poem to let me see what I have down. It was refreshing to read my mistake on a lovely written poem. :)
