| bktierney 10/21/12 . chapter 1 I like these, not many people give a thought to the fact that haikus are meant to not only be in a pattern but be about nature. They skip over that, not realizing that you can address nature and still touch on emotions and deeper sentiments. I think that was some of the beauty of Japanese haikus: they had meaning beyond the obvious. Your haikus speak of beauty and grace, freedom, and the power of nature. I like it. Well done. |
