Wow, I'm welling up. That is so heartbreakingly sad that I just want to go to the mother and hug her and listen to her while she cries. The imagery is striking and powerful in this piece and I also think it's vital because it's a nice way to show the emotion in the piece. The emotion comes across really well and really hits the reader right in the eyes! This one is a real tear jerker. This is a great piece!
