This chapter was great! I can't wait to see how Ondine and Quinn interact with each other!

I like this a lot :) i really want to know more about Ondine's relationship with her family and her life in the water before she gets taken. Who are her parents? Is she pretty much a loner? Is it common for mermaids to prefer to be alone over being with their families? These are just some things i would like to know about her.

Anyway, great job! This chapter definitely created some suspense. This story is so fun!

I don't think it was sappy. I think it was beautiful. It would probably sound really sappy if someone read this chapter out loud, but it was necessary for us to see how Ondine fells about Quinn. I can't wait to see Quinn's sappy thoughts. BTW: Is Clemmie bisexual?

Clementine's personality was quite amusing, and this chapter was nice, as usual!

Is this ex-girlfriend going to be a problem? Why didn't Ondine turn into a mermaid? Is it because she is "attached" to Quinn? Is Ondine going to realize how much she loves Quinn after she finds out who the girl she was reasently talking to is?

This is great so far! The funny incident at the end was refreshing, and it was nice to see Ondine warming up to Quinn

this was a great chapter. The spoken dialogue between Quinn and Ondine is great. I really liked it.

Will she become a mermaid again? She has to because I liked it when she was a mermaid. I love mermaids and now her usual life has been taken away from her? Was this the only way you could let Ondine and Quin stay together?

-The dialogue is wonderful. The way you wrote the sailor(?)'s speech was perfect!
-Bringing in a conflict is great! I can't wait to see how this all comes into play.

Perhaps longer chapters, that's all.
