Syria of the Silver Stars 3/17/13 . chapter 17I used to love fairy tail. I freaked when I saw a Happy cosplayer at Anime Expo. |
Guest 3/12/13 . chapter 13 Aw man... I really hope things get better... I keep wishing you the best of luck and I'm praying for you every night. |
Syria of the Silver Stars 3/14/13 . chapter 15Oh that's awesome that you've become a Christian! I've been praying every night since I became a Christian (in January) for the Lord to reveal Himself to you. I'm so excited! As a baby Christian as well I can really relate to you right now. My life changed so much after I got saved. I got rid of a lot of things in my life that no longer fit my beliefs (lots of books, all my fortune telling and palm reading and fung shui, and anime - everything I had/did that was related to any of these). It caused me to lose a friend and my dad to think I'm nuts but I gained so much - a church, a purpose, a reason, a loving Lord! From one new Christian to another I would highly recommend that, if you already haven't, you read the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) - they're extremely encouraging :). My personal favorite is Luke, but I've heard that John is a good starting place :). God Bless! Your Sister in Christ, Ashton P.S. Do you have any prayer requests? |
Syria of the Silver Stars 3/13/13 . chapter 14Oh man, was I not signed in last time I reviewed? *facepalm* I'm glad things are getting a little better for you :). And if the "professional" is any kind of professional then he/she shouldn't think you're insane - especially if they get to know you. P.S. I now want cake. |
Syria of the Silver Stars 1/22/13 . chapter 2I just happened to be rereading this and realized that you have the same view on Romeo and Juliet as Lindsay. Last year I had to read it for school and really enjoyed it. Once my teacher explained what everything meant I was in awe of Shakespeare's beautiful writing and amazing poetic imagery (so much so that I wrote a poem, I Killed Romeo and Juliet, with some of the same imagery). Lindsay, on the other hand, called both characters suicidal idiots, the language impossible to understand (which she has a point there...), and declared that she's done with Shakespeare and was going back to Warriors (a kid's series about cats, its her favorite). Sigh... I guess having the right teacher makes all the difference :). P.S. My Honor's class spent 2 and 1/2 months on it and Lindsay's regular ed class spent 3 weeks on it. |
Syria of the Silver Stars 1/17/13 . chapter 10It put a big smile on my face to see that you put me in the chapter! Its cool that you're in a band and your lyrics are really good. I can only assume they will get better when they have a tune and music too :). I guess it gets really cold in Sweden. I live in South California in the USA and I consider below 50 cruel and below 40 just plain evil. But I have a high heat tolerance. I don't start complaining until its over 105. Oh and please don't apologize for being alive. That's a good thing! Its makes me so happy to think that I might have had even the slightest influence on that decision. Its what I'm dedicating my life to doing - I'm going to become a therapist and help people - or at least that's what I tell myself :). Just out of curiosity, what do you wanna do for a job? |
Syria of the Silver Stars 1/16/13 . chapter 8I'm so sorry that I haven't posted a review before. I'm a chronic introvert, even on the internet, so its hard for me to voice my opinions. But I promise to leave reviews from now on. And the next time I reread something I'll put a review on that too. |
Syria of the Silver Stars 1/16/13 . chapter 9I'm reading this. I've been reading each of your chapters multiple times and every one of your other stories. You can't blame yourself for not seeing what was going on with your friends. I know from experience that when you're hurting is when you work the hardest to make sure no one else knows about it. All you can do is be there for them now and try to keep them from hurting themselves again. You're probably not aware of what an inspiration you've been to me. When I read your stories (especially this one) I was just amazed by how open and brave you are! I decided to make my own online diary (On the Mind and Life: An Outlet) because of reading this. I have to sincerely thank you for your writing. Also I know I'm just some random stranger off the internet who you probably don't give two cares about but if you ever want to talk about something feel free to PM me. I'd be honored to help and/or listen. P.S. If you stop this I will personally come to Sweden and hunt you down :) |
