This is a really cool story, but I'm still not sure I know the gist of it. This chapter mostly introduces characters, but that's okay because your characters are actually very interesting. Jaxon's character makes me quite happy. Good job.

Though no action entirely happened in the prologue, it was a very good beginning to start off with. I love your cover art, by the way; very pretty and luring.
I'm interested in this Ashlyn Bristol and her life. The last line simply draws you in:
" if anyone ever found out then we would both be in great trouble."

Forbidden romance, I presume? :) Just my kind!
