The story behind this poem is tragic, romantic and full of crushed hope. I love this and everything about it. Keep writing more of these- I love them all!

The imagery is fantastic and really grips me, especially when you use 'you'. The imagery is intricate and detailed with the last night being particularly poignant. This sad tale is haunting but beautiful and I think one of your finest. Superb piece as always! :-)

The imagery here is startlingly beautiful, I especially loved "stretched out fingers wrapped around mine" and the four-line section in the middle where you revert to a loosely fixed rhyme scheme was also a favourite part of mine. Nice job! :D
