Grrrrr! Its a good poem and all but I know what you are talking about and I feel like a father!

Hmm.. when I read it, it seemed "choppy" ... though I may just of imagined it.. I like the lines
"I can feel my heart bruising and scaring

And freezing over"

I see a block of ice being slit in half, very nice imagery. :)
