I don't really get it.

wow...the mindsets between the boy and The Soldier...one relaxed wondering what the future will bring meanwhile the other is fighting to protect his past (in a way...the beach holds his memories after all)

This is a really intriguing piece you've written, the way you contrast the boy and the soldier's points of view is a pretty nice technique. I think it shows the innocence of childhood really well :)
