xanticristos 1/8/13 . chapter 1I read this a few days ago and that last line stuck with me, I love it! |
R. E. Ellison 1/3/13 . chapter 1Somebody's gotta suffer for my stupid education, so... here it goes. 'Thou' is used in the subject position, so the absolute correct word (object of a proposition) would be 'thee' and 'shalt' is for third person, as in 'thou shalt', so...just to be an annoying old English teacher, the first line should read "Shall I dine on thee?" Are the last two lines a continuation of the 'question'? Wouldn't that just be one 'soul', then? The haiku is enjoyable, anyway, without my stickler-nonsense, and I like the idea of a very polite zombie first 'thinking' about eating someone - probably a hypothetical question, like my asking a See's buttercream if it's okay if I indulge. |
BookcraZzaY 1/3/13 . chapter 1its very creative..the second line makes me think its about a monster reading it over again; which is different then when I first thought of it. I love that it can be read differently each time I read it. |
