Awww... I could hear the little kid's voice in my head at the end... I love how they just naturally have that innocence in it!
Anyways, though I haven't personally hear the song, I still thought it was a good story. If it were me, however, I would have added a bit more description here and there. Also, I noticed a small error:
"But she didn't. She stayed. And when his lips touched hers she stayed as well."
It felt like you were repeating the "she stayed" line, but in a different way.
Other than the minorthings, all in all it was a nice piece. Write more soon!
