I think the way you have the perspectives set up now is great, I had no trouble following the two sides of the story. It was mostly well-written, the descriptions were often quite vivid and gripping although in some parts, particularly the short sentences, it seemed sort of jarring as if it didn't really fit with the style. But that's just my opinion.
