Hm, this puzzles me somewhat. I don't know what the speaker's connection is with knives - as in is it for protection, self harm or just a fascination in general. It does get you thinking. The emotion is great would have liked a bit more imagery especially focusing on the speaker's amxiety but that's just my opinion and I still think this is a good piece nonetheless.

Nicely done, I'd like to know the reason the narrator wanted the knives. I have two thoughts in mind! Keep writing!
