Aw, wow, Teti, this is truly touching! I adore the pictures that you draw with words, the symbolism that is hidden and yet so evident in these lines. This whole poem almost bursts with beauty and good, and yet there is also some sadness in it. The memory of a past that was filled with light gives us solace and can be soothing; however, at the same time it reminds us of what we have lost and will maybe never have again. And I feel just this slight pang at the end of your poem.
Like a dream your work pulls me into its wake and like a dream that is fading it leaves me behind with nothing but its echo to ring deep within.
It is truly a wonderful piece and I thank you a lot for sharing it!
