I like stories which move slowly, so I'm absolutely fine with this chapter. :)
I can't wait to get to know Parker though.
I'm glad we got to know more about Brien's family and his life in general.
Will the next chapter be in Parker's POV or will Brien meet him?

Interesting beginning. I don't know if you'll continue it, but I would definitely love to read more.
