The use of thou and thy works on some interesting levels. 1) it adds to the confusion and the merging of the pronouns (I, you, me, us) in the line "Twas thy I? Twas thy thou?" and again makes the last few recriminations inclusive. 2) it gives the poem a historic feel and a sense of trouble that began a long time ago and continues.
