I'm rooting for Fargrave right now...and I can't be in suspense because of Alex's Dialogue, and now its starting to bug me - you go for suspense then you write Alex saying something Thats totally her - but it ruins the suspense of the moment - and that ruins the suspense of the chapter... :(
Sorry, other then Alex's dialogue bugging me - I still like the plot twist of the Book becoming a part of Alex...The Parrot bit was a bit humorous as well.
